Health & Safety Policy

A few safety procedures must take place when handling the raw materials such as the Sand, Water and the Cement which includes wearing of safety masks when the sand is being stacked, hand gloves, safety boots e.t.c
The Transit Mixer are not allowed to be open during mixture to prevent accidents.
It is necessary that engineers wear a nose mask during sifting when using the silos to separate unwanted particles from both the coarse or fine aggregate sand.
The construction workers wear protective garments when they enter the transit mixer to break dried off cement to prepare for a loading of fresh batch of ready mix cement.

Our Laboratory Tests and Services

We carry out concrete tests such as workability (Slump test), Compressive strength test and flexural strength test. This helps the workability of the concrete and also determine the required achievable strength of concrete as specified by customers.

We carry out water tests such as pH value test, chloride content test, Sulphite content test, Nitrite test, etc. This helps determine provision of potable water for concrete production.

We carry out various aggregate tests such as sieve analysis, bulk density, specific gravity, Silt test by volume/weight, water absorptions test, organic impurities test etc. This helps to ensure the quality of concrete and aggregate compliance with compulsory regulations and quality control standards. It also determines standard aggregate strength, toughness, hardness, shape and water absorption.

We carry out cement tests to know the strength and characteristic properties of cement t be used for concrete production. Various tests on cement are done to check the quality of cement, to know the properties of cement such as Specific gravity, strength test, fineness test, consistency test, soundness test, setting time test, etc.

We carry out admixture tests especially uniformity tests which contains Tests for Ash content, Dry Material or Solid content, Specific gravity, PH value and chloride content of admixture samples. Also it is advisable a Cement-Admixture compatibility test is carried out to establish the optimal dosage of chemical admixture required for given cement.
